Mission

Parallel passes over an area, camera down. Draw the area with the tools on the map.

Take-offDJI Fly measures its maximum-distance limit from the take-off point and suspends the flight in the air if the mission exceeds it. That limit lives in the app and cannot be read from here, so check it against the furthest-waypoint figure before you fly.

BatteryResuming a waypoint mission after a battery change is not possible on this aircraft, so a Site bigger than one battery is flown as several Missions. Each part ends by returning home; swap the battery and select the next part on the Controller. Consecutive parts share a waypoint, so nothing is missed at the seam.16 min

IdentificationThe Site is the place, chosen once and reused so its Captures accumulate under it. The Mission Name tells two Missions of one Site on one day apart.

Site—

A new Site is created when this Mission is saved. Its identifier never changes, even if the name does.

Mission Name—

Give this Mission a short name -- "north half", "orbit" -- so it can be told apart from another for the same Site on the same day.
